About the Program

Students will take Japanese language classes taught by experienced and specialized lecturers, as well as cultural experiences and other programs in a short and intensive period. All classes are interactive and participatory. This is a valuable two-week opportunity to receive a high standard of Japanese language education. In addition to Japanese language classes, we also offer a variety of other unique activities.

Specialized Lecture

Through the program, you can imagine what it would be like to study abroad at Nagoya University by using the university facilities and attending lectures. In the specialized lectures, students are divided into humanities and sciences and are able to attend lectures related to their own specialty. Nagoya University is one of the most advanced educational institutions in Japan and students can develop their own areas of interest.

Cultural Workshops

This program will also include Japanese cultural workshops. Experts will guide you through traditional Japanese culture and you will feel closer to Japan as well as Japanese language.

Nagoya University Facilities Campus Tour

You can use the facilities of Nagoya University. You are allowed to use the large collection of books that only a national university can offer for your own study and research.

Experiences Outside the Classroom

Experiences Outside the Classroom

Field Trip

Students will leave the campus and visit tourist destinations and facilities in the Nagoya area where many sightseeing spots exist. Through the trip, students can broaden their perspectives and further exchange with other participants. It is a valuable experience to visit sightseeing spots that you would not be able to visit on your own.

Home Visit

Those who wish to join the home visit program, will have the opportunity to visit Japanese families during holidays. This is a valuable experience for students to use the Japanese they have learned in class to communicate with Japanese people and talk about their daily lives and customs.
